DNC Policy

It is Clean Energy Experts’ (“CEE”) policy to comply with the rules surrounding the telemarketing, namely the Federal Trade Commission’s (”FTC”) Amended Telemarketing Sales Rule (“ATSR”) and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 (“TCPA”), as well as relevant state telemarketing rules. Not only is it CEE’s policy to comply with these rules but also to respect and honor the requests of consumers to be placed on CEE’s internal Do Not Call list, so that such consumers will not receive telemarketing calls from CEE unless and until they provide consent to receive such calls.

Please note that CEE maintains an internal Do Not Call list (“CEE Do Not Call List“) that includes the telephone numbers of consumers who have directly requested to CEE or its telemarketing vendors that they not receive telephone sales calls from CEE. CEE has procedures to prevent telemarketing calls for CEE products or services from being made by or on behalf of CEE to telephone numbers on the CEE Do Not Call List including, when applicable, scrubbing telephone numbers against the CEE Do Not Call List and required state and federal “Do Not Call” registries.

Please note that if we contact you and you request that we no longer contact you via telephone, we record your name on the CEE Do Not Call List. If you want to be proactive and want to have your residential telephone number placed on the CEE Do Not Call List, you may call CEE at 888-630-6690 or mail your request to the Clean Energy Experts, DNC Administrator, 1601 N. Sepulveda Blvd. #227, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.

Please include your name and the ten digit telephone number you want included on the CEE Do Not Call List. If you have multiple telephone numbers, please tell us all the telephone numbers that you want placed on the CEE Do Not Call List. If your information changes, please notify us of the new name and telephone number(s).

In some cases it may take up to 10 days, but in no case longer than 30 days, from our receipt of your request for your telephone number(s) to be added to the CEE Do Not Call List. This record will be retained for five (5) years unless you ask to be removed from the CEE Do Not Call List. To prevent CEE telemarketing calls after five years, you will need to submit a new request to CEE.

Please note if you submit your information to CEE (through a CEE operated website) or through a third party partner of CEE subsequent to your request to be placed on the CEE Do Not Call List, CEE will consider this an affirmative request by you to receive telemarketing calls again. As a result, if you no longer wish to receive telemarketing call thereafter, you will need to submit a new “Do Not Call” request to CEE.

Please note that our process to honor your “Do Not Call” request impacts only calls may by CEE or by those entities on our behalf. You may still receive telephone calls from third parties to whom we have shared your personal information (if at all) regarding their products and services in which case you will need to request that those parties not call you, on a case-by-case basis.

Third-party vendors who tele-market to non-customers (persons who do not have an existing business relationship with CEE) subscribe to and scrub against all applicable state and federal “Do Not Call” registries, as well as the CEE Do Not Call List. CEE requires that all third-party vendors telemarketing at its request ensure they are in compliance with federal and state laws regarding telemarketing and that they fully understand and agree to follow the procedures for maintaining “Do Not Call” data. CEE does not condone telemarketing activities conducted in violation of the TCPA, federal rules and regulations, and state laws regarding telemarketing.

The FTC offers a free service to consumers that allows them to place their residential telephone number(s) on the National Do Not Call Registry. You may add your residential telephone number(s) to this list either by calling 888-382-1222 or through the internet at www.donotcall.gov. Under the federal Do Not Call Rules, telemarketing calls to a consumer with whom CEE has an established business relationship or has received express written consent are permitted unless the consumer has asked to be included on the CEE Do Not Call List.

CEE trains its employees and agents whose duties involve placing telephone sales calls to comply with the provisions of the TCPA, the ATSR, applicable state regulations, the use of the CEE Do Not Call List and this CEE Do Not Call Policy in performing their duties.

The CEE Do Not Call List restricts telemarketing calls from CEE only. CEE may continue to contact its customers by telephone for non-solicitation purposes including, but not limited to, service-related issues, surveys, billing, and other non-sales topics.

Again, if you have any questions about this policy, would like to file a complaint or would like a copy of this policy, you may call CEE at 888-630-6690 or mail your request to the Clean Energy Experts, DNC Administrator, 1601 N. Sepulveda Blvd. #227, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
