Sunrun Acquires Clean Energy Experts

Nation’s Largest Solar Lead Generation Company Will Operate as a Subsidiary of Sunrun Continuing to Provide Leads to Solar Industry Clients

SAN FRANCISCO – April 2, 2015Sunrun, the largest dedicated residential solar company in the United States, announced today it has acquired Clean Energy Experts (CEE), one of the fastest-growing consumer demand generation companies in North America, and the largest lead generation company in the solar industry. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

CEE will operate as a subsidiary of Sunrun under the CEE brand and continue to provide lead generation and management services for all existing and new clients, which include Sunrun and many other companies in the residential solar industry. Under the terms of the acquisition, CEE co-founders and presidents, Dr. Beau Peelle and Omer Atesmen will continue to oversee CEE’s operations.

Sunrun has a five-year history of collaborating with CEE to bring affordable residential solar options to consumers.
